Jobos Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 Using Win11 24H2 with a single HP E234D monitor and in display setting the display is showing as 2 monitors extending. Normally I would leave it as it works fine but it's displaying 2 wallpapers side by side. We use BGInfo and this will refresh every logon so it's not just a case of changing the wallpaper. Any idea how to get the PC to just see one monitor?

ICTDirect_Dave Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 My guess is the usb c connection is doing it. I'd pull the DP>HDMI cable and see how you get on. the D in e243D stands for dock so that cable is also carrying your display output. 1

Jobos Posted August 22, 2025 Author Posted August 22, 2025 Well I pulled the HDMI and there was no display until I put the HDMI back in. Not the end of the world but it does cause problems for GBInfo.
