Netman101 Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 Has anyone had any issues with Windows 11 and syncing offline files? Trying to set up with a new batch of laptops. Can get the files to be available offline, but they do not sync back. So The files remain on the PC unless you open them on the network. Which is not ideal. In the Sync centre, it says You have no sync partnerships set up, There are no conflicts, and in the offline files folder, it shows the users folder, then they have 2 documents folders both with the same contents! Using GPO to configure this, the GPO is set for sync centre and the correct path. Has anyone had similar issues with the sync centre
thimon Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 As in a file server homedrive? Offline files / sync center has been broken for a long time. Migrate over to OneDrive.
LeMarchand Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 I've started to notice similar things. It seems to be random working fine for some, but not other machines/users, with the same GPOs and setups etc.
Netman101 Posted July 30, 2025 Author Posted July 30, 2025 Sadly, we are a Google school, so part Google and part home folders hosted on our servers.
