From the image still has a stop code at the bottom so thats something, hopefully 'Whocrashed' still works!

Well, either they give a an indecipherable code or it flashes up and reboots so fast that you can't read it anyway!
TBH, I had my first BSOD in ages today when my pc booted up today. No idea what it was as it restarted so quickly.

Not seeing any less info in that screenshot than we've had since Windows 8, just the addition of the driver that crashed that was added to Windows 10 a few years ago.

 

As long as you don't turn off memory dumps, WinDbg's !analyse option should still work to identify the faulty driver.

So, they've removed that and put a black screen instead of blue and it just restarts too quickly meaning digging around in dmp files...?

 

Ah, as if I don't feel old enough, in a few years all the kids will be looking at old memes and asking 'what's a Blue Screen Of Death...?' 

 

As for the restart, I haven't had to deal with it for a long time... 🤞 does turning off auto-restart in advanced system settings still work (although pointless if it's not going to identify anything)?

Microsoft once again prioritising the real issues in their ecosystem. It's a wonder they didn't try and integrate Copilot into it. Still time I suppose.
