Windows 10 1809 LTSC to Windows 11 LTSB

Hi all

 

All our machines is currently on windows 11, but i have 1 machine where we have some softwares which we dont wish to lose so wondering if there is a route to upgrade this setup to windows 11?

 

Maybe Windows LTSC to LTSB first then upgrade to win 11? 

 

Any ideas?

We had a similar issue here. We backed up the machine with the "free" version of veeam for windows, then just did a inplace upgrade to Windows 11 LTS.

 

EDIT: although can't remember if we went w10 1809 ltsc to W11 or w10 2021 ltsc to w11 as we had both versioni on site at the time.

Not using LTSC here but I pushed out the Win 11 24H4 update out via WSUS to our Win 10 machines and they've all updated fine.  Kept the software intact. (Either that or SCCM redeployed it but I doubt that)
