What classroom and admin management for intune devices?

We are considering moving student devices to intune as it’s already happening in elsewhere in the trust and having done a test room are finding impero ed pro works to an extent but as it’s Active Directory based some things don’t work. Has anyone found an alternative that works that works with intune and ad devices properly, allows admin scripts and logging on en masse etc and allows screen monitoring of large classes of students without the lag of some of the cloud products. We tried senso already and went back to impero for this reason. We have a learning resource centre with 200+ pcs and someone trying to monitor that on a cloud products isn’t quick enough.

Just keep one small server there for the many things that don't play well with the cloud, Impero, Papercut, crappy exams software.  The list is long.  If you move totally to intune you'll be shooting yourselves in the foot in several areas.
