Not familiar with the material, but enjoyed the the first two episodes.

Wasn't impressed by the first 2 eps. Felt a bit like Resident Alien with the voice-overs, but fell flat to me.

I think the problem is that it has half hour episodes, but is paced for a 1 hour show. It just feels disappointing when each episode ends (and always on a cliff hanger).
Otherwise, I'm enjoying it so far. I'm just going to with a couple of weeks and build up a few to watch back to back.
