Hi,

 

Does anyone know if Lenovo have direct UK Education Sales department?

 

I had a quick look and couldn't find much, signed up for a Lenovo account and got an email, but seems to think more Business focussed.

They do, I went through it for a large order this summer just gone. It took a lot of hoops to jump through to get to them though.

 

When I eventually got everything in place, they referred me to a local distributor who is their agreed partner and we carried on.

 

There was someone from Lenovos edu team on each and every email chain and teams meeting.

 

The discount I got at the end was disgusting. In a good way.

When we've gone through the process in the last 6 months, Stone or Currys Business have come in up to 20% cheaper. In their defence whilst the Trust has been placing orders in the tens of thousands it's been fairly large volumes of low margin tablets. We got much better discounts when we bought a couple of IT suites' worth of PCs a year ago and even better discounts & free upgrades from sata to sas when we bought servers.
