Just having a play with a securly Demo, How you deploying the Chrome Browser Extension?

Got the Chromebook (Chrome OS) extension working. Thought this would just be the same extension for Chrome browser also (On windows). I can't seem to get installed on the Windows Chrome Browser..... can't see anything even if pinned, isn't filtering....

 

Officially the guide says to install the browser extension via GPO. Which i thought it was odd as you can just do it via the Google Admin Control panel......

 

How are you guys deploying the extension across windows (with chrome) and ChromeOS?

 

I'll book a ticket with the onboarding team tomorrow..... sometimes you guys are quicker to respond!

We use Edge, so it signs the user in silently without further prompt. Not the answer to your question sorry but maybe an idea.

We use the extension with our Chromebooks (How to Install the Securly Filter Extension - Google Workspace – Support) but the SmartPAC for windows devices so the edge extension isn't necessary Why should I get SmartPAC? – Support
