SEND personal music/mp3 player during exams

Apparently this is now allowed https://feweek.co.uk/send-students-now-allowed-to-listen-to-music-during-exams/ so was thinking of the cheapest most basic MP3 player,  wondering what others are doing as well?

Think we have to select the music so how does copyright work, maybe royalty free or they provide a CD?

I'm seeing this from both sides - my son is doing mock sats and has an £5 temu mp3 player with classical music on it and £12 bone conduction headphones - he has the planets suite. The school had to be made aware of the regulations before they'd allow it, but it really helps him to concentrate.

 

We've not had any requests for it here yet, but I've got 3 MP3 players that were supposed to be prizes for something but then covd happened and the competiton did not! I've loaded them with a bundle of chillout that we have bought DRM free from 7digital. I've also used a signal generator to create some long sine wave tracks as well as white noise and fan sounds.
