CAM Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I have a number of students in my current Year 11 who came from abroad and subsequently have no KS2 score (that we know of). How do you handle these? Any way of getting them included or are they discounted entirely?

tombry Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 to this point I've just assumed it'd be like VA - where they aren't included. In my Go4Schools system it doesn't seem to be expecting anything either.
skunk Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 If they speak a language other than English and joined the school during Y10 or 11 then you can ask for them removed from your performance tables completely during the June & September data checking exercises.

tombry Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 The 5B thing is because they need to achieve the same as a student that had a 5B to count on your tables. I still wouldn't give them a 5B, I just make sure when making my transition matrices that I include the row with no prior attainment.

bigdannyb79 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 The 5b thing will just be for progress in that if they get an Aor B they would count as 4 or 3 Lop in old headlines as the highest prior attainment is a lvl5. But only in that now expired measure. Using it for p8 or va isn't valid or sensible !!
