studio Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Hi all, I may be being dense here but I can't find this anywhere. I'm assuming it won't be, but does anyone know whether the AQA Level 2 Further Maths (8360) would be included in the P8 Maths basket? Thanks
studio Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 Answered my own question as Further Maths is in the Maths E-Bacc bucket: This qualification counted in the performance measures for the first time in 2014. It was subject to the rule that only two non-GCSEs counted in the 2014 performance tables. In 2015, schools are able to opt-in to Progress 8 one year early. To ensure that all eligible qualifications are counted in headline measures AQA and WJEC Level 1/2 Certificates have been removed from the list of non-GCSE qualifications and remain only on the EBacc list – they will therefore not be subject to the capping of non-GCSEs rule. This is the case across all performance measures for all schools in both 2015 and 2016 performance tables.
