mark80 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Hey Can anyone point me in the direction of a KS2 SAT sublevel threshold datasheet for 2009 ie for the current Y11's? I have the threshold scores for each level from here http://testks2.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/ks2-level-thresholds-2009.pdf and with a little excel magic put in the sub level based on distribution of scores but i would like the definitative table as will be used for the Summer 2014 performance tables/RAISE Mark
pingleby Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 My understanding is that sublevels aren't that clever. I believe DfE just use thirds of the raw score whole level boundaries. Correct me if I'm wrong...
timetableman Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 If you have access to the their FFT estimates, you can download their scores as sublevels from their, or fine levels which are even more accurate. - Depending on which graph the DfE choose to use next year. As the DfE provided their scores, they are the ones you will be measured against. (plus an new starters that aren't on FFT). We then import the grades into 4Matrix and let it work it's magic.
