Hi all,

Have an ML30 Gen 9 server with 2 network ports. Both these ports are currently setup as a Teamed Nic. One of the ports is a shared Nic \ iLo port. How can I setup iLo access on the shared Nic which is currently Teamed ?

Thanks all for any help.

I wouldn't and I don't think you can. You really want iLO on it's own network as it gives console access to the server.

Jus get an extra NIC card, you could use the existing LAN NIC and use a port on the extra NIC and should be able to team them.

Thanks. I know you can because I've just checked the HP documentation, but I agree, I am inclined just to get an add-on iLo card on its own network as you say.

You already have an iLO port so jus get another NIC for the LAN????

Interesting. i'll have a look at this link, as I have set the shared iLO correctly following all instructions provided by HP but cannot ping the iLO ip address regardless of whether I give it a static or DHCP IP. The Teamed NIC is as instructed as well.
