Meraki - Single app lock down to one website

Afternoon,

 

I am wanting to use a website for a survey that our students will have to fill out in the coming weeks on IPADS. We are using Meraki as our MDM and I would really like to to lock this down to the website is carried out on. Is this possible? I can set the website as the 'Home Page' but they can browse onto other websites using the Single app mode.

 

I have also tried adding a Web Clip and removing all apps. Which works but the settings is still showing the 'Settings' icon and with no way to get rid of this. You cannot do a lot but I never feel comfortable with it showing.

 

What would be the best way and how?

Have you tried Home Screen Layout? This should help you remove Settings. Or even better use the Web Clip alongside Guided Access Mode?

Depending on what the survey is using (in terms of website URLs behind it) you could do something like deploy Chrome and SingleMode it. Then set the Chrome "GPO" settings to add a whitelist only for URLs? https://chromeenterprise.google/policies/#URLAllowlist
