Anybody else has a wonda sync request from "ImpactEd"

I hate these blind requests, Wonde should require a staff name before these appear on the platform.

 

I've sent an email out to all staff, and until somebody claims reasonability, its remaining declined!

Same here got four waiting approval - not getting it till some one says they requested it.

We get requests out the blue sometimes too, not had that one though. It looks like an assessment data analysis tool, so I'd start the questions there.

 

The one which annoys me is when a company sends a permission change request you don't get a notification. This meant some colleagues were struggling with something recently because they couldn't get the data the company told them they should. When they asked the company, they were told "IT need to make the permission change" which made it sound like I'd missed something.

Yep i also noticed this when looking at impactED, notified the DPO so the data request changes could be updated.

 

Wonde shouldn't allow these type of request, its bortherline data phishing.... They should always required a staff lead before wonde even allows the request.

Wonde and the end party don't get any data until the school approves it. It's up to the school what internal checks they do before approving, but we should certainly make sure the Wonde admin contacts all understand GDPR.
