I can't seem to find good guidance on this either (see previous new thread about Netsweeper), but is anybody using the Safeguarding Alerts feature from their Hub sight and actually have it configured to send useful data? If so, could you share how you set this up? The information on their Knowledge Base is next to useless as none of the images/screenshots seem to load!

The pop ups do get annoying and would be missed by a teacher standing at the front teaching, so we review the logs regularly and run reports daily or more frequently if we see problems.

We’ve added a lot of custom blocks and alerts into categories we’ve created. Some of these we use instead of the inbuilt ones which are rather more American focussed than British English.

We use NetSupport for our safeguard alerts and monitoring, our DSL gets emails whenever an alert is triggered and processes them that way. They also get a weekly email with all the alerts from the past week in a summary.

Found it to be very good as it tracks everything, not just the web like our filtering. So if a student is venting in a PPT or Word doc it will pick that up and record before/after for context.
