Chromebook accounts on device

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone knows if they have enabled a setting that requires users to type their username to login into the devices rather than their accounts being stored on the login screen. We have chromebooks that have about 20 accounts that have signed in on the device and you can see every single one and try to login into it.

 

The reason why I want to turn this off is to prevent users from trying to brute force into accounts that have signed in on the chromebook previously/ locking out users after many incorrect login attempts. Also I could imagine with all the accounts that are being stored on the login screen is slowing down the chromebooks as well because what they have to load when they start up and load on the sign in screen.

Yes, in Admin Console you can set this on devices, and pre-fill in the domain.

Devices > Chrome > Settings > Device Settings > Sign-in Screen > Never show users and photos

 

and

 

Devices > Chrome > Settings > Device Settings > Auto-complete Domain
