M365 Secure Score

Is this any particular use? I've started looking at ours. For starters apparently my current score is higher than "can be achieved with my current Microsoft Licence". But the Implementations all seem wrong or out of date too. For example one of the things it says I need to do is "Restrict anonymous users from starting Teams meetings". The implementation says I need to "1. Log into Microsoft Teams admin center. 2. In the left navigation, go to Meetings > Meeting Policies". Meeting Policies is no longer there, and if I actually look at my meeting policies then anonymous users can't start meetings in any of them. There's plenty of others like this too.

had the same issue where it doesn't pick up on things being implemented already and you have to select that you used a third party service to resolve the issue, also most of it requires E3 or E5 if you want a high score

Used to be really useful. Now not so much. I do like that you can filter by what you have a license for, but I have had the same experience as you with either documentation out of date or it doesn't update even after a few days.

Pretty sure it's just a way to suggest you give MS more money for basic security features

Some Cyber insurance quote ask for it, although not sure if it affects the premium at all!
