JoeSys Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Hello EduGeek people. New member seeking thoughts and advice from the community. Are there any alternatives in the UK further education space to OneAdvanced's ProMonitor? Here's a (not very good) fact sheet on the product [https://www.oneadvanced.com/siteassets/resources/factsheet/advanced_factsheet_promonitor.pdf] It works in conjunction with other products in their 'ProSuite' range. Hopefully some users here are familiar with what it does. It seems quite uniquely positioned in the market, but it's VERY expensive and difficult to use, operate and maintain. It's not cloud-based, for a start. Getting data into the system seems overly complex and the UI is something akin to Windows XP. I'm aware of systems such as Bromcom and Arbour in the marketplace, but I'm not sure they quite cover the feature set of Promonitor. I'd be grateful for some feedback from people already using the system, or those who've used it in the past and have moved on to something else. Thank you.
jslate1980 Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 We still purchase ProMonitor but moving staff to this http://totalcollege.co.uk/onegrade-web/. I work for a group colleges looking after networks and infrastructure, so not really involved with the product, other than it is hosted onsite.
JoeSys Posted November 21, 2024 Author Posted November 21, 2024 Thanks, jslate. Hadn't heard of that one and I will look into it. OneAdvanced claim to have 85% of the further education market, so perhaps there just isn't much competition in this space...?
