Migrating Unifi controller

How do you migrate Unifi devices to a new controller I don't want to reset the VLAN as one switch is connected to the servers.

 

Should I remove the DNS entry for infrom?

Done this a few times. It Is very easy.

 

1. Build new server

2. Backup old and export file

3. Turn off old

4. Restore backup on new

5. Update DNS record.

As FN-GM said, above method works & is reliable. Done it myself

Thanks all moved over it was the DNS part that I was missing. I now gone from Windows to Linux as the host.
