We have recently created a new server to replace the one that was holding the license file for techsoft. Is their anyway of seeing if a pc is still pointing to the old server location or the new as when we turned the old server of some PC's were still looking for the old location and some where fine. Is their a reg key or something that would display where it is looking for the license?

Thanks

I could be wrong but when you create the network install file it creates an MSI file and a tsd.dat file. This tsd.dat file needs to be with the MSI file when it installs so I'm assuming the tsd.dat file might contain the license information? If you've created a new network install file you could try copying the new tsd.dat file to the old installs to see if that works. Alternativley, if you're creating a new MSI install for the new location then it might be worth just reinstalling the software.

Yeah, I think it's the tsd.dat file that you're after. It's not human readable, but you could check the datestamp as a way of determining whether it's from the earllier deployment or not. As @RLR says, I should think copying down the current one into place will be worth a go.
