[sOLVED]

Hello,

We are experiencing an odd issue with outlook for the web.

It appears to be missing some features. The ability to create a signature being the biggest issue.

So when I sign into outlook for the web with a school account, there is just no option to create a signature in the settings, amongst a load of other settings missing. But when I sign into outlook for the web on the same device and same browser with my personal outlook account, I can see all of the settings, including the ability to create a signature.

I initially thought it was something to do with an OWA policy in the exchange admin centre, but all of the features are enabled on the default policy that is being applied.

I've taken the PC off the domain and connected to a personal hotspot to check that there were no GPO's or weird filtering issue with the school's internet, but I got the same result, so it's definitely something to do with the school account itself.

This is effecting all users.

Could it be a license issue? The license we use is Office 365 A1 Plus for Faculty. I've no idea.

Any ideas? Thanks.

If you click on the cog in the top right - they've recently moved signatures and automatic replies from the general settings area into the account area. Just double check if that is there for you.

If not - we are using the same licence as you so I can't see it being a licenceing issue?

Thanks for the response. Glad to hear it's not going to be a license issue. When I click on the cog and go to account, the 3 options I see are 'Email Account', 'Categories', 'Storage'.

Yep that's what I get when I login with my personal outlook account too. Same device, same browser. Makes no sense.

Is it doing it with all the staff accounts or just yours? If so, could be a setting somerwhere. Is the tennancy managed by you or a third party?

I figured it out! Of course it was a policy! Under Roles - User Roles in the EAC there was a policy which had all of it's boxes unticked. They've been re-ticked and now I can see all of the settings. Thanks for your suggestions!
