Preston Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 I need to create a 2Gb partition on an 8Gb Hard drive to install NT4 server on, problem is the setup program itself wont do it! So i need to find some sort of partition creation program that i can boot from and do the task. Or i need to find a "crack" for the Hard Drive capacity limit on NT4 Can anyone help?
Preston Posted March 22, 2006 Author Posted March 22, 2006 Ah BOOTing did work after some fiddling about Cheers Gus
Michael Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 For future reference wouldn't creating a Windows 98 boot disk (or downloading one from http://www.bootdisk.com ) then using FDISK to create your 2GB partition work? Or alternatively install the SCSI drive in a secondary system and use Partition Magic which is nice and simple to use.
