Google Drive online, not displaying the Shared Drives section for 2 users

This morning I have had 2 users that can't access any Shared Drives using the online version of Google Drive. The shared drives section is simply not displayed.

 

I logged into Google Drive desktop app and they are displayed there.

 

I have reset the users Chrome settings, but when they log back in its the same issue.

 

Any ideas?

Are they in the right OU to see them? We had all our permissions messed up the other day by a new setting assigning drives to OUs.

We are using groups to control Shared Drive access. Everyone is still listed in the group. Should I look somewhere else?

Could it be that the shared drive/s have become hidden for those users? We get that occasionally.

I don't think so, as I have now had another 3 teachers with the same issue. I'll take a look anyway, thanks.

 

Edit, also they don't have any access to the Shared Drive system, Shared Drives is not even displayed under My Drive.

Now you say that, I think I had that problem myself in Google Drive last week. When browsing to the Google Drive page, I hit a landing page that didn't include my Shared Drives, even though I could see Shared Drive files in my recent files.

 

Refreshed the page, and Shared Drives as a section came back.

 

Just a thought!
