Scifigirl Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Afternoon all, A Friday tale of throwbacks and Woe. Our Sensory pool area PC which controls the lights and "atmosphere" has decided to do funny things and wants an XP CD/installable for repairs. This is not a PC we were aware of (typically) until it broke. Any one out there have a XP SP3 installable, we can have to fix? That doesn't come from a dodgy link.
Scifigirl Posted October 18, 2024 Author Posted October 18, 2024 Hopefully you can download it from here Thanks that only has the security updates, not the full Operating system - which is what im looking for - thank you though 1

DalekSec Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Found this website earlier, had to whip up a win 7 vm to access an old NVR! https://dl.malwarewatch.org/windows/ 1
MatthewL Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 I have a copy of said ISO file if you want drop me a message and I will upload somewhere. 1
Fazza Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Normally you should be able to get hold of an ISO from the Internet Archive but they had a DDOS attack the other day so they've taken it offline whilst they work around the clock to re-secure their sites. It should be back up and running in a week or two so if not resolved by then, then have a look on https://www.archive.org/ 1
ovenchips Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 I've got a few different XP OEM ISOs on my server, feel free to PM me if you need help. 1
Scifigirl Posted October 21, 2024 Author Posted October 21, 2024 I was very kindly sent an iso we hope will work - its a half term test and see situation, but thank you to everyone who offered, and will let you know how it goes. 1
