Jaan Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Just doing some test restores....... for the life of me i can't remember how to restore my physical DC to a virtual...... i've done this before..... but i can't find the option in the GUI... has something changed? Its managed by the server not a client based agent. Cheers
howartp Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I've never done it, though I do have physical and virtual in my Veeam infrastructure. Looks like two options: 1) Home > Backups > Disk > (Agent job) > Server > Right-click > Instant Recovery - this launches into the usual wizard where you can restore to ESX Hosts. 2) Home > Backups > Disk > (Agent job) > Server > Right-click > Export content as virtual disks HTH. Peter Thanks for the reply and PMs guys. I asked Veeam AI in the control panel. it said do a "Instant Recovery" to my Standalone Hyper-v host which worked fine. cheers
