EdShed "Unlinked" Pupils

Does anyone who uses EdShed know what constitutes an "unlinked" pupil and/or how to "link" them. My 3 rogue pupils are bugging me!

Unlinked pupils are those who are not allocated to any class. You can click on the pupil's name and on the top bar there will be option to move the pupil to the class. Hope this helps!

Thanks, but all 3 are linked to classes and can be seem in the classes!

There could be duplicate name? Or licence missing?

Just noticed: None of them have UPNs, but trying to edit the pupil to add that data fails.

Just in case anyone has this problem, it is apparently when pupils are added manually rather than waiting for a MIS sync. Their support said it doesn't affect functionality (just my OCD!) and didn't offer a fix. I guess deleting the pupil might work, but I assume that would also delete any existing data on their record.
