[sims] Amending a permissions group

Hello

 

Is there any way of editing a permissions group on Sims.net?

 

We had a teacher add an item to the School Diary which was a meeting for them only, but as it was visible to the whole staff in school.

 

I have had a look at permissions and it looks like they can edit due to being a 'Registration Tutor'.

 

Is there a way of just removing the tick on School Management | School Diary | Edit (All) and it be removed for anyone with that assigned to them?

No. You would have to clone the original group eg Registration Tutor and call it eg ABC Registration Tutor (where ABC is your school letters or similar) and then on this cloned version you remove that ability. Then this cloned version is the one you assign to all teachers and you remove the original SIMS one from their accounts.
