Hello Is there any way of editing a permissions group on Sims.net? We had a teacher add an item to the School Diary which was a meeting for them only, but as it was visible to the whole staff in school. I have had a look at permissions and it looks like they can edit due to being a 'Registration Tutor'. Is there a way of just removing the tick on School Management | School Diary | Edit (All) and it be removed for anyone with that assigned to them? Many thanks

Is there any way you can make a field mandatory in Sims? We produce a behaviour report once a week and part of the report is to see which subjects have the most behaviour incidents. However, staff are not completing the Behaviour Activity Type (subject) when assigning any behaviour sanctions. This means our report isn't accurate when looking at this data. Just wondered if you could make a field mandatory so it is definitely completed by staff? Thanks

Hello I've been asked to create a report which shows percentages of attendance codes for whole school then groups such as PP/Non PP, FSM/Non FSM, SEND, Gender, EAL, LAC. The report needs to have present codes as well as all absent codes used in registers. I'm a beginner to designing complex reports so I was wondering if anyone has designed something similar that they wouldn't mind me having a look at? Many thanks Shelly

I've deleted ours, logged out, logged back in, checked again and they are all still appearing. Not sure why they won't delete. Someone else has tried it too and the same happens for them.

Hello Just wondering if anyone could help? I'm trying to tidy our Sims up and delete unlinked persons but when I select them in the list and click Delete, it doesn't work and they show back up when I do another search. Does anyone know how I can delete them? Or is there a known issue? Thanks

Hello We would like a column on our registers (taken via lesson monitor) to view whether students have a toilet pass or medical pass etc We have set the passes column up in UDF with the data we need. I've gone to Tools - Setups - Attendance Setup - Module Setup In Defaults for Specific Routines, selected Active User Defined Fields and our Passes column It displays the column for me, but not anyone else. Is there a way I can set this so all teachers see them on their registers? Or will it only appear if they go through the steps above themselves? Thanks for your help

I've just tried your suggestion and the tick box for 'include records with no such lessonmark' seems to be unavailable to select or de-select. If I add another field it then creates multiple lines per student rather than just a total. Looks like it will have to be a manual filter when exported. Thank you for your help SJT

I'm designing a report to show me the number of late to lessons students have so we can issue detentions for over a certain amount. Does anyone know how you get only the students with a positive number show when you run the report? So no student with zero are showing. Hopefully that makes sense. Many thanks Shelly

It needs to show some information for our registration groups Number of male/females Number of PP/nonPP Number of H/M/L Prior Attainment Number of SEND E/K/N I'm confused on how I get it to pull out numbers of these groups, rather than a list of the students. Yes, that's the way I have been doing them up to now but I wanted to make it an easier job by just running a report and the labels are automatically produced by the report. It would save having to keep doing the report from the student list then merging the data into labels.

Good morning, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on designing a report within Sims. We often distribute things out to students in their last lesson of the day and I am always asked for labels, however at the moment year groups all finish at different times/periods. I was wondering if it would be easier to set up a report in Sims, along with a label template to make it an easier job. I need the report to show student name, class, teacher and room at a selected period to be defined at run time, along with a year group filter. I've had a go but can't seem to get the fields/filters correct to make the correct data to appear. Any advice on how it can be done would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've just updated them and the student is still appearing in the current Y11 marksheets.

Good morning I have an issue where a Y11 student who left in the summer has now started to appear in marksheets for current Y11. They have a leaving date assigned, and normal leaver procedures followed. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can remove them from the current Y11 group marksheets? We use Sims (Assessment Manager). Thanks

And also, if a room at a certain period is an option to be able to add? Any help would be appreciated
