Ardilluminati Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Hi All, I have been having issues with some domains not receiving our emails, we use Google Workspace and had no issues before with the same domains but suddenly our emails are not getting to them or gets spammed, I have checked MX records and all seems fine. Google have told me everything is fine from their end after checking these email headers. Email logs shows these emails as sent and delivered . I have changed DMARC records to none and still same issue. I did a test to my personal Hotmail and Gmail account and both got delivered to spam folder. Any advice would be much appreciated as this is causing me a headache. Best A

Ardilluminati Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 Thanks for this, it says no issues.
ZeroHour Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 It may be worth checking what provider the spam marked receivers are using. They can use different methods of deciding if its spam. SPF correct? 1
Ardilluminati Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 yes all checked with Google support and confirmed, they do say it could be the recipients settings but hard to believe when its multiple domains plus hotmail and gmail.com and these always worked until recently.
paulkerton Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Assume you have SPF, DKIM and DMARC all in place? How about MTA-STS? 1
Ardilluminati Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 SPF, DKIM and DMARC yes whoever no MTA-STS never had this when it was working.
jthompson Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 MTA-STS won't have any bearing on outgoing mail, since it's a means of securing inbound mail transit. 1
TechMonkey Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 From your tests to your personal accounts, copy the headers and paste them in to https://mxtoolbox.com/EmailHeaders.aspx and run the analysis. You can either share the link on here or have a look and see if there is an issue. If this is all clear try https://www.mail-tester.com/ which will give you a deeper check on an actual email. If still nothing try https://www.learndmarc.com/ which will take you through step by step the various checks and alert you to anything wrong. 2
