rossibIT Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Afternoon All, I am wanting to staff to only email the allstaff security group that has been created. I have done this at another school using a PowerShell script, but when looking at the attributes for the allstaff group on my primary school the attribute that I need to define what group can send emails (dlmemsubmitperms) is not showing on the attribute list. How can I add this in? Screenshots added to show what I mean. I have seen that if I install Exchange 2019 management tools then this will add this? Is this correct? Regards Ross
CHiLL Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 If you can't see the Attribute Editor tab, you need to ensure that Advanced View is checked under the View menu in the AD mmc snap-in. The extra mail-related attributes aren't visible in the Attribute Editor tab, then you need to extend the Active Directory schema to include Exchange: https://support.exclaimer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/6776545275677-Can-I-extend-Active-Directory-schema-to-include-Exchange-Attributes 1
