Cl4rkie Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Hi all, I'm an IT Technician at a school and over the summer we upgraded to Windows 11. Ever since we've had huge issues with our interactive touchscreens. One of the main issues is when a teacher goes into presenter mode on powerpoint, the board just goes black and says no signal. Has anyone else had a similar experience and knows the fix?
Passat1983ICTech Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Hello have you got the new up to date drive for the graphics card and have you updated bios as well have you check the option on power point to use the graphic card hard and can you tell us witch touchscreens you are using and are you using the latest office is this up to date
JRA Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 What make and model of screen, just out of interest? Or is it a mix?
robintech Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Seems to be a common bug https://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-10/234439-pc-losing-duplicate-extend-settings.html and had it happen to us but somehow resolved itself The order in which the board is turned on or duplicated/extended and the PowerPoint started causes it to revert to PC screen only
bknaggs Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Make sure the board is on before going full screen in PowerPoint.
