[sims] Pupils Timetables are not visible in SIMS before the Academic year begins

Hi There,

 

I have two similar queries which I hope someone can assist with. I have completed the full timetable import into SIMS from Nova and I can see the timetables for the Teachers by selecting the date change to 4th September. However, why can I not see these on a date change to 4th September for the pupils timetables?

 

Is it correct that the updated class codes groups will appear on the pupil records when the year begins or can these be visible now (August 2024) before Academic year begins?

You should be able to see pupil timetables now by changing the effective date. Just to check, have the pupils been allocated to groups yet in the Focus>School>Academic Structure>Curriculum Assignment by Scheme/Student section? Also have you changed the Academic Year to next year yet (Tools>Academic Management>Set Academic Year).
