USB Soundbar - Playing sound while muted (after sleep)

Good Morning All,

 

Weird one here. We have a new USB soundbar attached to a computer, while "on" the speaker works fine and mute works as expected.

 

However, once the machines gone to sleep and then has been re-woken, the soundbar still plays audio despite being muted. (Tried disabling all the normal like USB sleep options, advanced sound settings on control panel etc)

 

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Clear the cache in the device list or app that used the device?
