Locking down iPads and Samsung tabs so that children cannot switch off safe search et

Hi all,

 

As the title says, can you please let me know what tools you user for locking these devices down to prevent tampering with the settings, especially safe search etc.

We use Intune & the smoothwall browser to do this on iPads - Locked down & KSCIE compliance.

 

Not had much luck with Android devices tho - Although we can get them on Intune and lock them down, there's no smoothwall cloud browser yet for them

Would it work on a Amazon Kindle Fire which runs Android in the background?

I dont think there's any MDM control on the Kindle

Yeah I think you're completely out of luck with Kindle's I'm afraid. Some of the early ones you could root and put stock Android on, but that's longgg gone!
