Hi all, is anyone using the Tassomai Wonde sync?

 

They're trying to get us to move over to it, but we feel its a massive data grab because they've got Contacts (parents) and Pupil Premium eligibility as required sync fields. We've pushed them on it and they're coming back with 'it helps engagement if parents have accounts, and we're trialling this lovely new feature for Pupil Premium students'. Which is all very lovely, but is not REQUIRED for the platform to operate. No accounts have any PP data in them currently, and we are not taking part in the trial. Also, we wouldn't add parents without getting their consent first.

You’ll have to do a DPIA anyway, so justifying that change of how much data they hoover up will take some doing.

 

Hit the Deny button on the Wonde home-screen. Do it.

That's why I'm curious if any schools are actually using it. If they keep refusing to change the sync then they will definitely get denied.
