Hi guys

My boss has asked me to look into Cubase 13, we've been asked by a HoD to get a few licenses for September and looking on their website I found Pro/ Artist and Elements. My boss i adamant that Elements is a standalone student version sole for students but I cant find anything on the website to indicate this.

He also says there should be a full version for school and it'll be under network version but again...Nothing!!

any help?

Thomann or GAK might be worth an ask, both usually very helpful and Thomann especially do education discounts on stuff. I'm fairly sure they'd assist if emailed.

Elements is just a scaled back version of Pro / Artist for anyone who doesn't fancy paying for all the features of Pro. It's not specifically and solely for students.

Education pricing is available at https://www.steinberg.net/education/students-teachers/ or via quote from any reseller (we use Academia I seem to recall) - there is no "full version" specifically for Education. Pro bought under an Edu License contains all the features of Pro bought under a non-edu license (and same applies to Artist and Elements).

HoD needs to go down the feature lists at https://www.steinberg.net/cubase/compare-editions/ and tell you which one they want. No point buying a version that lacks a feature they intend to use for teaching.

Network licensing / activation and deployment is covered at https://steinberg.help/multiuser-guide/deployment-automated/
