Hi, I have had to purchase shiny brand new Mac Mini's and trust me it wasn't the most pleasant experience. We have been working hard to ensure that these are all setup and working perfectly how we would like them to but a question was raised and this has really confused me because I am slightly unsure on how to do this.

We would like One drive to automatically start syncing the user with all of its data no matter where it is stored i.e. either documents or desktop and have One Drive handle the storing of data rather than the mac storing this and being filled up with all of users at the school. Apparently there is an easy script to make for Mosyle to do this but everywhere I search high and low I cannot seem to find it. Has anyone been able to achieve this that could help me out? If not then we have invested into One K-12 as a school so we can happily use the delete user profiles command and then delete their user data if the macs start to become full.

Hi,

We just mainly use Google Chrome, Silabus, Logic, Microsoft 365, One drive and Adobe if I can try to remember all of this on the top of my head.

You would need to use the One Drive Sync app for those apps that create smaller files but it's an impossible task to sync the gigabytes of project data from apps like Adobe or Logic, for those you need some local network storage that can then synced in the background, I'd look at Synology, which BTW can be backedup/synced with One drive.
