Just putting it out there to see what you do...

 

How do you manage IT projects and installations, such as the provision of new internet, within your organization? Specifically, do you always obtain RAMs and asbestos surveys for all projects involving contractors? Additionally, how do you ensure these processes are consistently managed across MAT?

In Short yes always RAMS but you should keep your own asbestos register which should be read inwardly digested and signed by all contractors. As for the process itself i follow a PRINCE light approach.

 

Check that the project is justified and remains so throughout its delivery

 

Use lessons learned and add learning to the organisation when the project is completed

 

Establish everyone has clear roles and responsibilities

 

Split a project into stages for planning and control

 

Defined tolerance levels and authority limits

 

Focus on products and achieve expected quality level
