TwistedHelixis Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 In Google Workspace there are 2 different ways I can see to forward an email from one account to another, and both options seem to work. Until now, I have always used the last option below. So which of these is the correct way to forward emails. Gmail > Default routing or Gmail > Routing > Email forwarding using recipient address map
jthompson Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 I use the second one. It's exactly what the option is there for, and the rules when added are fairly clear for other admins to interpret. 1

We use Routing for routing emails to Egress so if someone puts in [encrypt] in the subject, the mail will be routed through the Egress mail servers. I don't think staff use Egress as much these days. 1
