Hello,

We are having an issue after authentication on the Smoothwall SSL page.

Before this issue, the confirmation page would show the account logged in.

Instead we now see the error text below.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache Server at ***** Port 442

Users are still being authenticated however this error message causes confusion.

Any advice or recommendation as to why this is occurring and any fixes?

Many thanks.

Looks like... fun. Have you got a support ticket and I will get a developer to take a look

It miiight be an issue we had with the auth page recently (a;though if it is it is presenting in a different way) so do make sure you are up to date with the latest software

I have this issue too at the moment. Haven't raised a ticket yet though. We also are having mixed results with the logon_loop script which has been working for years without issue - users are then not authenticated but the block page shows no login button.

Thanks Tom,

We have raised a ticket number 514959.

Also I have checked and the software is fully up to date.

Many thanks.

This looks like an old ticket pertaining to CA issues - something different entirely? And it's closed... I don't want to try and guess at tickets because obviously I don't know who you are. If there's a different ID let me know

Meanwhile I have asked the dev team if the other ticket in this thread is a known issue
