ITGURU Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 (edited) Just changed my phone and reinstalling apps. the Edugeek APP seems to have disappeared from the play store? Edited April 28, 2024 by 6Foot2 Add a prefix 1
elsiegee40 Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 (edited) I suspect that the version is so old that the store no longer supports it. Of course, when and if we get the new website, this will be fixed [emoji849] #NotAModAnyMore Edited April 28, 2024 by elsiegee40 1
timbo343 Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 I've googled "Edugeek.net apk" and one of the results was - https://apkpure.com/edugeek/com.tapatalk.edugeeknet - could you download and install that, if it's legit?
ZeroHour Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 I will take a look soon. Google did change some policies so I will have to check if I need to agree to some bits. 1
Garacesh Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 Never quite understood the whole thing about making websites into apps.. Every phone already has an app for every website that exists..
LeMarchand Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 Never quite understood the whole thing about making websites into apps.. Every phone already has an app for every website that exists.. In some cases, like The Geek, the app is formatted better but on the whole i do agree - why have dozens of apps when you need one? I'm guessing it's to do with the increased possibilities for making money through data slurping with most apps.
robyholmes Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Just checking in to see if the Edugeek App for Android is now Officially dead? New phone and no app to install
LeMarchand Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Just checking in to see if the Edugeek App for Android is now Officially dead? New phone and no app to install If you still have your old phone, you can export the apk. Otherwise, see @timbo343's post. 1
robyholmes Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 If you still have your old phone, you can export the apk. Otherwise, see @timbo343's post. Ahh that's better. Re-installed, for now at least. Of course they'll be a brand new app with the new forums along before long... 1
