lwild Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 We had connect the classroom funding, and wireless upgrades back in August. We've now had an email where the DFE are "visiting a selection of schools to check the installed work/equipment matches the schedule outlined in your approved quote. " Anyone else had one of these visits? What can we expect?
ITGURU Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 We are doing it as a self install so I would expect a visit to ensure done to specification and all kit claimed for is on that site seeing we are a MAT and only 1 school was entitled .
Sylv3r Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 Interesting that we had 15 CtC schools and never had a follow-up visit... yet.
RezolutionICT Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 When I worked for local council schools IT dept a few years back we had a couple of DfE CtC post install inspections. Just checked cabs, switches and AP numbers. Basically checking the kit on the proposed design was actually installed.
PotNoodleTech Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 They probably just want to have a check to see the kit hasnt all gone on ebay.. No biggie, invite them in make them a coffee ask them how the project is going.
Aprice Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Just had one, Is the kit they've paid for actually present. And getting some feedback from the school. Overall a very positive meeting. 2
