Olliedawg Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 I have been asked to produce a map with pinned locations of all feeder primary schools on. First thought that comes to mind is making a custom map on google maps, and pinning them all on there, screenshotting and adding to a document, then print on A2. Does anyone have any other way they would go about doing this? I'm thinking that they may want the locations labelling too.
Rob_D Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 I'd probably screenshot google maps (or maybe https://explore.osmaps.com/ https://www.osmap.uk/ if you want a more traditional map style) and then use photoshop/gimp (or even just PowerPoint) to put the pins in. 1
howartp Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 I've used https://batchgeo.com/ I *think* it's free for the bits you're asking for. 2
mavhc Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Better to have a vector map unless you can fake screenshot at very high res. Open Street Map has some tools 1
