bandgeekmafia78 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Hi, I'm getting a really annoying message everytime anyone logs onto any computer in one of the rooms: "One of the files containing the system registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternative copy..." I've tried quite a few things to sort this out, including Registry cleaning and running a chkdsk. From what I can googlewhack, people are suggesting that its a problem with the ntuser.dat file. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this problem? I've nearly finished a new ghost image but I want this message to disappear before its done. ta Alan.
Domino Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 boot into safe mode, delete the ntuser.dat, reboot and login, it will create a new one. If its happening for every user it would just a problem with the default profile.
