Please can we have MFA?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to be given the ability to protect our logins with MFA please? I believe in 2024 this should be a standard offering, especially for a group that should be promoting the highest standards of IT security.

The new platform has full MFA auth but currently you can only do IP verification right now, toggle on at the bottom of: https://www.edugeek.net/profile.php?do=editoptions

 

It will send you an email when you log in on a new ip address.

I've enabled, I get the email then it gives me option to whitelist the IP but seems like that link is dead.

Just to note, not sure how advisable it is but the MFA setup code works for MS Authenticator too.  It isn't exclusive to Google Authenticator.

Yeah it will work in any Google Auth compatible app (I use Bitwarden) its just always termed as Google Authenticator nowadays.

It is also possible to use a programmable token (might be handy where mobile phones can't be used).
