5nowman Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 All, Hope you are all well. Had some mad issues this week and wanted to see if anyone else have had them. 1. Machines stuck on windows updates. configuring update... for AGES. Hard shutdown... same message. Take the Network cable out, percentages go up and machines gets to logon screen. Need to put cable back in, in order to login to domain. Reboot with NIC in and machines gets stuck with clock, and cannot do anything else. Mouse moves. Any ideas?? I am stumped. Not nic drivers. Not bios. Nothing trackable in event viewer. It is happening to about 10 machines out of 60. No model / OS link. OS = Windows 10 LTSC - has been perfect until the recent windows updates... or crashing during. Kind regards 5nowman
PotNoodleTech Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 Where's it getting updates from? Your own WSUS server or an LA or higher up one, or widows update direct?
5nowman Posted February 22, 2024 Author Posted February 22, 2024 Where's it getting updates from? Your own WSUS server or an LA or higher up one, or widows update direct? Straight from microsoft. This has really stumped me. Hopefully others have had the same issue. Any advice would be kindly appreciated. Kind regards. 5nowman
TwistedHelixis Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Have you just left them updating to see if they do eventually install the updates, or have you had to hard reset every time?
