[wanted] Very Cheap Laptop with Dedicated GPU

I sold my 4k gaming setup couple years back and now getting itch to play games i can't on Xbox (AOE 2 (yes i know its on Xbox but cant stand it using a control), SC2, WoW). Along with some very basic 3D modelling. The plan was to save up for a MacBook Air but the itch is getting real!

 

I've half inched an old laptop with a GTX 950m from work that was due to go into the WEE pile which can just about run them, but wondering if anyone has anything of slightly better spec about to be binned i can buy?

 

When I say cheap I mean sub 200 ideally!

You can buy a new 64gb steamdeck for £309. this might be enough power. and can be upgraded and used with tv or monitors

FYI AOE 2 can be played on the Xbox with a keyboard and mouse

Can you play non steam games on it?

 

Not a fan of playing an RTS on a smaller screen also :/

I have a grand total of 0 room to put a desktop. The only room i have is taken up by my 3D printer. (which still wouldn't be room for a monitor!).

 

In middle of selling the house, hopefully new one we get going to have an office room but depends a lot on what we can get for our money.

 

Edit: Suppose i could get a SFF to stick behind the TV to play RTS games on... and get wireless mouse and keyboard.

Worth keeping an eye out on refurb outlets for ryzen bazed laptops - might be a little pushed at that budget but might find a 3 series with an iGPU more than grunty enough for those games. Might even be worth dropping ICT Direct a line!
