Random DNS entries appearing

Just having a quick check in DNS on Win Server 2019 and found something I'd never noticed before... I'm wondering if it's been tampered with somehow.

 

Basically most client desktops (Win 10) are listed 3 times within the Forward lookup zone for the domain. So for example, I have the following 3 entries for 1 client desktop:

 

STN-20002 Host (A) IP Address normal then time stamp 16/01/24 09:00

STN-20002 IPv6 Host (AAAA) random Mac Address then time stamp 16/01/24 09:00

STN-20002 IPv6 Host (AAAA) random Mac Address then time stamp 16/01/24 09:00

 

We don't use IPv6 and I'm almost certain there was no mention of if there before, but it's very random now that a lot of our stations are appearing 3 times with now 2 mentions of IpV6.

 

Is there anything I should be aware of / double check which could be happening?

Cheers, I'll have a look into that link. Would that explain why not all computers have it listed within DNS, and why it's maybe only appeared (can't recall noticing it before)? It also doesn't appear for a test station I just removed and restarted. That has only just appeared with it's IPV4 address.
