timbo343 Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 I didn't know where to put this so i thought Learning Network Manager (even though ive been in the role ages) would be the best place, after all, we are always learning. Back in 2007 when BECTA was a thing, there was / and i have a document that outlines what each roll (IT Tech / Senior Tech / Network Manager / Senior Network) should include in terms of skills and competencies. Obviously this document is nearly 20 years old, does anyone have anything like this that they could share with me please which is more up to date? Thanks.
DrBeaker Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 I wouldn't mind a copy of the original BECTA document if you don't mind PMing me a copy please?

Uploaded it here - it's a little out of date. ICT Competences Framework from Circa 2010 Be good if someone had or has something a little more up to date. 2

Popular Post scsitsupport Posted January 11, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 11, 2024 I found this last year I believe. Updated slightly from the Becta documentation: https://edcol.org/?l=32F4 5
psydii Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 The SFIA framework used to be good. It's gone a bit over the top in more recent versions, moving further and further away from something any small org could implement, but might be worth a look. https://sfia-online.org/en/about-sfia/sfia-professional-skills
